I installed ASIO Proxy 0.9.4 as directed by Fiio's online FAQ and am lost at what to configure. This makes sense because a DSD256 file is sent over USB via DoP as 706.5kHz (DSD64 as 176.4khz & DSD128 as 352.8kHz). In foobar2000 I get an error (pic attached below) telling me the DAC doesn't support 706500 Hz. I have had no problems playing everything but DSD256. Fiio claims that the Q1 can do up to 384kHz/32bit PCM and supports DSD64, DSD128, & DSD256. dsf file and it will not play in foobar2000 and my Onkyo HF player on my iPhone outputs it as 176.4kHz. ![]() I downloaded a Santana album from HDtracks and it sounds superb! It worked fine with the samples I downloaded from 2L except for a DSD256 file. I recently just purchased a Fiio Q1 MKII and noticed that it supported DSD so I thought I would try it out because I could notice a large difference the first time I heard a SACD. This is my first post so if I do something wrong, I apologize in advance. ![]()
